The city is filled with sounds, which boomed across the room, filled with furniture and books, never to be read again. And he stood there next to the window, gazing at the monitor and thinking – How the Hell can I entertain these bored people, who have nothing else to do in their insignificant lives, but to read empty pages with no delicious chocolate filling what so ever. But then something happened…no…it was not a flash of inspiration or a blow on the head…it was pure silence. It was one of those moments when no car dared to break the silence and no man dared to ignore it with his noisy footsteps. It was beautiful…pure bliss.
That phenomenon, which is only characteristic of the wide and uncorrupted depths of the cosmos, made him think about how people can live in a world fill of noise. There is a girl, living in New York Jungle, which Is so used to the noises of the world that she had become deaf for silence, peace and quiet. For the anniversary of her divorce she decided to go to a little peace of wonderland, called Bulgaria, which just so happens to be my playground of fantasy and muse. She went to a beautiful place with a magnificent view to the Musala peak. The cottage was in the middle of a forest, surrounded by trees and snow. Inside, the house smelled of wood, which had soaked up so many memories that it had to let some of them loose. The stove was crackling a happy fire and just as it did the happy working new-Yorker decided to go and get some more wood so that she didn’t have to break the approaching heavenly moment including a open bottle of Sauvignon and a comfy chair.
The door screeched open as a fraction of the stale, memory-filled air left the wooden cottage. She stepped out in the snow and her pink Prada boots screeched in the snow. And than…nothing. The peace and silence was as Devine as the Heavens themselves. She felt a cocktail of feelings that were incomparably strong even to the driest martini in the world. At that exact moment nothing mattered to her, no mortgage was too great, no extreme was too extreme, no evil was too great to break that silence and cross the gates of Heaven. That Silence…Dare I say she was never the same shallow girl again.
